Basically the Arc-V Fandom after episode 37

I feel Rise of the Guardians is one of those movies where nostalgia isn’t the only reason people revisit it and it got so wildly popular back in the day.
It’s a case of a movie being just enough fun, wonder, and colorful to be satisfying and comforting to watch.
But the moment one seeks more, aka the books and the preproduction, it suddenly occurs to the viewer how starved they are for a more in depth movie of the beautiful movie that almost was.
And I feel the fandom filled that gap, but by the end, it then just sits there. As they stare at the movie, filling in the lil cracks and moments between with headcanons, fics, fanart, aus, etc. So the movie feels full, but that ache of want never truly goes away.
So when revisiting the movie, or when one gets nostalgic, it restarts the cycle of bringing back this world to life one more time to hopefully make it finally stick, and maybe this time, it will have more the next time they choose to look.
